Shuttle J Series Announced. Your Thoughts?
Any thoughts on the new J Series? Will it be worth it or too high priced.
SFFClub is trying to find contact Shuttle for a review sample.

hmm..quite interested in the J3 shuttle there:

Might mean i don't go down the itx route and keep my existing gear (or at least just the mobo, cpu and ram).. will have to see how 'big' the thing is too. Looks pretty cool though
Also 500w psu.. is this going to be enough for sli/xfire??

They need to show some inside shots soon! I've been trying to get in contact with Shuttle for awhile considering I'm the only small form factor review site left. SFFTech has NO reviews anymore.

Trouble with Shuttles is the "Shuttle Tax" that gets slapped on them.
Shuttle need to do more to make them competitive with the likes of the SG05/06/07 and the Da Box 100, as you can (at least in the UK) build a similar barebones for less.

Yeah, I love Shuttle but they do seem to come at a premium...i'm wondering if the J series will change this.

It looks just like every other shuttle ever built except black. Shuttle has always represented to me a company that originated (successfully) the concept of a good SFF pc, but they really need to change up their look if they are going to survive. Their systems just don't seem as competitive either when you compare some of the Zotac offerings...or DFI or J&W or even Intel. More companies are jumping on the ITX wagon like they did with the Netbook craze. I just don't see myself or anyone looking at a Shuttle pc and buying one instead of a unit that can support a quad, 8gb of ram and a pci-ex16 slot.

My Shuttle SP35p2 Pro has 8gb of ram a duel core processor and a Nvidia 8800GTS 512 video and I am looking at a Gforce 460 video card when they are released. In my humble openion the SP35P2 Pro is one of the best looking Shuttle case's offered. I will put it u against any compairable computer on the martet.
